WALKABLE St. Louis

The Post-Dispatch is filled with stories and commentary about the upcoming highway 64/40 construction project. Most of the coverage is about the concerns for massive disruptions. But there is another view. This disruption should be a great opportunity for St. Louis to rediscover mass transit and non-motorized transportation. There are express buses every half hour from the Ballas Transfer Center to the nearest metrolink station -- and these buses are very underutilized.
