WALKABLE St. Louis

Walkable St. Louis is a pedestrian advocacy organization formed in 2004. We are the first organization dedicted solely to pedestrian advocacy in the St. Louis area.

Our initial focus has been to encourage and enable more children to safely walk to school. We have partnered with Trailnet and the Missouri Department of Transportation to organize Walk to School Day events, and Walking School Bus Events in Webster Groves, Missouri. For more information see:

We have participated in the development of the Bicycle Pedestrian Regional Plan for the St. Louis region through involvement in the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee of the East West Gateway Coordinating Council of Governments.
